Adam Tensta (born Adam Momodou Eriksson Taal) is the biggest star of contemporary Swedish hip-hop. He grew up in Tensta, a suburb of Stockholm that is known for its high percentage of immigrants among its inhabitants. His debut album “It’s A Tensta Thing” became a Swedish chart topper in 2008. The album won the 2008 Hip-Hop/Soul of the Year Grammi (Swedish Grammy awards).
