Biography

Maud is the Head of Programmes, Transitions to Peace & Promoting Youth Leadership at the Kofi Annan Foundation, where she leads its programmes in the areas of Building Lasting Peace and Promoting Youth Leadership and the work of the Foundation on the issues of transitional justice and reconciliation. She also coordinates the Extremely Together initiative, a youth-led effort to improve young people’s capacity to reject the narratives of violent extremists.

Before joining the Foundation in 2017, Maud was the Head of Learning and Policy and a member of the Strategic Management Team at Interpeace. She gained hands-on peacebuilding experience as Interpeace’s Programme Officer for the Great Lakes Region. Maud also worked on political transitions, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration and human rights at the French Ministry of Foreign Af fairs, the French Embassy in Namibia, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Niger and Amnesty International in Paris. Maud holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management in Developing Countries from Sciences Po Bordeaux and an additional Master’s in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law from the Paris Panthéon Assas University.
